Therapy Services

I offer individual, marriage, and family therapy from a Christian perspective, with a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My approach is practical and collaborative. I focus on helping clients develop tools and insight to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your marriage, family, or your adolescent, I aim to create a comfortable and respectful space where real growth can happen. Therapy is most effective when we work together toward goals that matter to you.

Individual Counseling

I work with adolescents (age 13 and up) and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), I help clients understand their thoughts and emotions, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop practical tools for meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, with the aim of helping you build confidence and move forward with greater clarity and emotional stability.

Marriage Counseling

Marriage is a covenant that calls for intentionality, grace, and commitment. Over time, the pressures of life, work, and personal struggles can create distance, resentment, or ongoing conflict between spouses.

I offer marriage counseling from a Christian perspective, helping couples rebuild connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges such as frequent conflict, broken trust, infidelity, or differing expectations. My approach integrates biblical principles with practical tools to help you and your spouse grow in understanding, forgiveness, and unity.

Parent Education

Parent education helps parents develop clearer strategies, set age-appropriate expectations, and use effective rewards and consequences. This service is especially helpful for parents who struggle to agree on parenting approaches, have a challenging child, or are navigating co-parenting after separation or divorce.

*Parent education sessions are for parents only. Children do not attend, which allows parents to speak openly without the child being caught in the middle.

Family Counseling

Difficult life events can lead to a family’s need to heal together. These events can include but are not limited to:

  • Illness of a family member.
  • Sudden or traumatic death in the family.
  • Transition from a move.
  • Loss of a pet.
  • Fire or natural disaster of the home.
  • A home invasion.

*When calling for an appointment, we can discuss the appropriateness of family therapy versus individual therapy.

Insurance

I accept most major insurance plans. However, I am not a Medicare or Tricare provider. If you have insurance, I recommend contacting your insurance company to verify your benefits and coverage for outpatient mental health services.

You are responsible for your deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance. Once insurance has processed a claim and a balance is established, payment is due. I accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
